Dark Titanbane

The Dark Titanbane is a sleek, finely-crafted longsword with a black metal blade that seems to drink in the light around it. The hilt is simple yet elegant, decorated only by the emblem of the Vigilant Mortals, with the crossguard being slightly upturned. Its pommel is a smooth, concave torus. The weapon exudes a cold, haunting aura that sends shivers down the spine of those who dare to wield it.

History

The weapon was originally wielded by Jacoby, an officer of the Vigilant Mortals, who used it to maintain the balance of power between deities, titans, and mortals. When the encapsulation of Ravensburg sealed Jacoby within the Vigilant Mortals’ forsaken base, his isolation and despair twisted his loyalties toward Tellani, a dark mistress from the Shadowfell. Under her influence, the sword was corrupted — its original purpose further tainted by a dark thirst for destruction.

The blade was recovered by Speen after the Dragon Slayers defeated Jacoby in the Vigilant Mortal hideout outside Ravensburg.
