Origins

First Races Evolved naturally from life within the first planes. These races spawned the first titans and first deities. Many of the first races have gone extinct, evolved into second races, or disappeared during the Mortal War.

Second Races Some of the Second Races evolved naturally from the First Races. Others were created whole cloth by the First Deities, looking to create life on their own terms. These new races grew into Second Titans, sparking The Mortal War against the gods in the Second Mythic Era.

Third Races After the tumultuous Mortal War, many classes of mortals, titans, and deities either die, hibernate, or ascend. Third races evolved or are created after the Mortal War in a multitude of ways in an equally numerous places.

Second Races

Viermer Water Location: Iwagata and Upper East Cost Notes: Seafarring people fighting sea titans

Druvinae Earth Location: East Coast Notes: Thick, tall, molted skin, hallow eyes, stringy hair

Ipus Air Location: Iwagata Notes: Small, thin, weak, pale skin and white hair

Human

Dwarf Mountain dwellers Excavate massive structures

Half-Orc Mountain people Barbaric, semi-nomadic tribes

Tieflings Only a handful Offspring from Asmodeus

Iwagatan Ancestries

The ancestries native or endemic to Iwagata follow a strict social hierarchy rather than clans.

• Low Class
  • Gaur (Orcs/Minotaurs): Barbarians of the mountains.
  • Tanezumi (Goblins/Rats): Low class city dwellers.
  • Kurobuta (Wereboars/Pigs): Low class city dwellers.
  • Vanara (Monkeys): Forest folk, usually living on the edge of towns or in their own villages like Anyon.
• High Class
  • Ayam (Aarakocra/Roosters): Merchants.
  • Usagi (Rabbits): Priests.
  • Li Mao (Rakshasa/Tigers): Rare loners, often tending toward evil.
• Revered
  • Dragons: Very rare, only a few individual dragons exist on the island.
