Description

The Vanara are the monkey-folk of Iwagata. The vault describes them as the island’s original inhabitants before it became a place of exile, and notes that they now occupy much of the western portion of the island alongside later arrivals.

Homeland

Iwagata is an island nation east of Edous. It was originally inhabited by the Vanara, but now serves as an island of exile for a greater land further east. The Vanara have largely taken over the western portion of the island.

Settlements

The vault explicitly places Vanara communities in villages such as Anyon, which is described as a village in Iwagata entirely inhabited by the Vanara.

Role

The vault characterizes Vanara as forest folk who often live on the edge of towns or in their own villages.
