Description

Chief Snider (late 30s, rude and constantly distracted) was the Captain of the Guard in Highridge and a key figure in The Trust. A widower married to his work, he ran a corrupt protection racket and commanded the loyalty of the city’s guards.

Snider notably orchestrated a bounty scam out of the Rusted Shield tavern. He would hire teams of bounty hunters to track down escaped convicts known as The Forgotten (such as Klod and Chops), only to tip off the convicts so they could ambush the hunters and split the loot. His racket was eventually exposed when the Salt Mercenaries came to town, leading to a street war between the guards and miners. Snider and his men were killed in the ensuing conflict.
