Description

Defended his village from monsters for years. When they made him their hero, he felt he needed to move on. He wants to help people, not just rest on his reputation. And he wants to do more.

Protecting the same little village from the same regular creatures over and over, while important, does allow him to help as much as he feels he can. So he left to adventure and help others.

Others close to him, see Gimble as always trying to prove himself, almost to a fault. Why he feels this need, they don’t know. Gimble doesn’t talk about it, or much about his past.

In truth, Gimble’s sister died when they was younger, exploring the woods around their village. They were attacked by a beast. Gimble and his sister, just children, were not strong enough to fight so they ran. Gimble could run faster though, so his sister was tragically overtaken by the beast.

Gimble took up fighting, trying to protect people from these monsters, as a way to make up for having lost his sister. He never backs down but also often takes on fights he really shouldn’t.

Gimble left his village and began moving around a lot, almost running from his past. He must learn he isn’t running from his past, he’s running toward his destiny.

Eventually helps Talinor develop more advanced shipbuilding techniques.
