sir-davion-browyn

Description
Sir Davion Browyn is a sworn knight of Stolm who earned his title through battlefield merit rather than noble birth. Once a low-born conscript, he rose through repeated wars and invasions against his homeland, proving himself as a disciplined commander who knows how to place his companions where they will do the most good. He was knighted after holding the line at the siege of Crunia with only seven men beside him.
Davion is stoic, grim, and deeply duty-bound. He believes a knight exists to shield the weak, keep order under pressure, and meet horror with discipline instead of panic. Even in enemy territory, he draws a hard line between soldiers, civilians, and the corrupt powers that place them in danger.
When Stolm‘s scouts uncovered signs of a rising threat beyond the mountains, Davion was dispatched south to investigate. He lost most of his original company crossing the wilds and continued the mission nearly alone until he joined up with Clifford, Mads, and Wraith.
Role in the Campaign
During the Sundered Lands Campaign, Sir Davion became one of the party’s steady battlefield leaders. He helped drive back the cult’s influence around Willowbrook, pressed the group to protect common folk wherever possible, and kept their mission focused even when disease, undead, and political intrigue threatened to break them.
His ties to Stolm shaped much of the campaign’s wider conflict. Davion carried the burden of the brewing war with Thurin, yet he still argued against needless bloodshed, insisting that ordinary guards and citizens were not guilty simply because their rulers were. After the party exposed Zarin‘s corruption and his role in driving the conflict, Davion brought that truth before the council, helping bring the war between Stolm and Thurin to an end.
When the immediate fighting was over, Sir Davion and Mads returned to Thurin to see the war’s end through and help rebuild what had been damaged.
