Early Years
Generations ago, Felarathael (solar in service to Correllon, the god of elves) mingled with his ancestors. The birth of an aasimar comes sporadically and his family named all their children solar based names. But Sol was the first aasimar in his line.
17 years old: Leaving Family
Despite his heritage, and his family’s expectations, Felarathael never came to raise him or teach. This abandonment by the angel while being put on a pedestal by his family drove him to reject it all and seek the darkness.
24 Years Old: The Pact
At the age if 24, he is visted by a Shadowfel Lord. He forms a pact; Power in exchange for killing the entity that is causing the undead army in the Shadowfel via a planar disruption.
28 Years Old: Joining The Shadow Army
Seeing his immense power, the Darkest of Shadows recruits him to the Shadow Army.
32 Years Old: Attack on Shaa Thalas
His power and the Darkest of Shadows’ direction, makes him a top officer. She puts him on a special mission; getting The Vigor during the Attack on Shaa Thalas. He was used and in his naive personal quest, he went along with it. He dies in Shaa Thalas.
Family Legacy
After his death in Shaa Thalas, their family line continued, hoping another aasimar would be born. After 3,000 years, finally one was; Auroratine. Their shared blood and blessing connected her and Sol. When The Fall brought Sol back to life in Auroratine‘s time, they could sense one another.
Rebirth
The events of the Shadows Campaign occur.
Abandoned his pact, where he vows to destroy the source of a planar disruption effecting the Shadowfell. He discovered the disruption was Los, but it was too late. Instead of completing the pact, he saved Auroratine and lost his powers. In the final battle underneath Shaa Thalas, she darted in to pull Sol out. She dropped a couple of times, but Sol kept bringing her back, indicating his deep connection to her and the family. They leave the battle together and decide to remain in Shaa Thalas.
Shaa Thalas
Sol and Auroratine help build Shaa Thalas into a sanctuary for all elven kind.
The broken Pact has come due and he begins to fall terribly ill for having not completed his end. He asks Kaelith to kill the Litch, not to save him, but to save Shaa Thalas. Sol dies and his soul goes to the Shadowfel Lord.
