Description

Dormaer is a dark elf mage who became one of The Silence‘s avatars. He is described in the vault as having stolen Eckdar‘s thesis and used it to begin establishing the weave and constructing the Loop.

History

The vault records Dormaer as leaving Shaa Thalas when the dark elves retreated underground, then later stealing Eckdar’s thesis and running to Farfield. He appears in the Wardens Campaign as The Silence’s second avatar and is ultimately destroyed by the Wardens.

Notes

The vault also links Dormaer to the timeline of The Silence and The Darkest of Shadows, where his role is framed as part of the struggle over avatarhood and the Loop.
