Epilogue
Valar was contacted by the council of Shaa Thalas and offered a seat. His knowledge of elven history and the good works he’d done made him a valuable agent. The elf accepted, settling into a comfortable office with rows of tomes he could only dream of.
For a time, he was satisfied. Then Valar carefully turned over another stiff page of a dusky tome dimly lit by candlelight. His eyes darted about the text, and he knew he had uncovered a lead to a secret the world had long forgotten. “Cancel my appointments,” he bellowed to his secretary. Valar grabbed his hat and whip and swept out into the night toward adventure once again.
