Factions
City Counsel
Caspin is managed by a counsel of department heads. How each department selects its head is left to their own politics. Andes really only cares that the city continues to ship goods to the capitol.
- City Steward: Terrence de’Shay (Male Elf, robes, ponderous) While the capitol officially has final say in all matters, in practice de’Shay lets the counsel run the city and only uses his authority on matters the capitol has dictated. de’Shay mostly works to bring consensus to the counsel and ensure each department’s needs are met according to their relevancy on the matters.
- Lord of the Port: Borrin Rowtree The docks are the most important function of the city, both for the city itself and for the Andes Kingdom they are a part of. Borrin intricately controls the operations of the docks, trade policy, and trade routes.
- Commandant: Colonel Shapa (Dark-skinned human, very direct and rude) Responsible for the security of the city via the guards as well as housing and assisting any Kingdom armies present in the city.
- Finance Minister: Gloin Goldbeard (Male dwarf, white beard embroidered with golden beads) Manages the city’s finances. Borrin provides him great personal luxury in exchange for obedience.
- Citizenship and Immigration Officer: Judy Ur (Middle-aged female human, thinning red hair) Low tier member of the bureaucracy. Looking to make a name for herself and move up. Her motives are thinly veiled behind caring.
