Tortle Cleric (Twilight, Eilistraee)

Origin

Speen is a tortle who was rescued from the mind control of Lunalata during the clearing of Caspin‘s southern region. After being freed, he was sent along with Leo and the party to help find the jellyfish on the Sahuagin Island.

Joining the Party

When the party successfully released a colony of healing jellyfish, Leo decided to personally escort them back to Caspin for the Tortles. Rather than return with Leo, Speen chose to follow his wanderlust and continue adventuring with Grafyr, Timrush, and Valar.

Key Events

• Healed a Kenku who fell from a height at the Ravensburg Monastery, earning gratitude from the Kenku community.
• Picked up Jacoby’s sword, Dark Titanbane, in the Vigilant Mortal base.
• Ripped the crown from the Dream Walker’s head, breaking Zevorus’s control over Nero.
• Took Zevorus’s sword/bow weapon after the dragon was slain.
• Kept a mysterious coin found by the Willowood fishermen — one of the 10 coins the Wardens tossed at Hal Sleepwell when they came from another time.

Epilogue

With the jellyfish reintroduced, Guardon was healed and rose from the depths. Several tortles left Caspin to return to the ocean; some stayed with their titan, others — like Speen — branched out to explore the world.
